It'll be the backdrop to our ceremony. Known as a jewel box of central México, the area for 7,000 years has been the "place of many people." And with all of its history, color, and cobble-stoned streets dripping in bougainvillea, the city offers the perfect amount of magic for our day.

And after years of bonding over stories of travel and traveling together, it just made the most sense for us. It felt right.​

the journey
The best way to get to SMA? Fly into Aeropuerto Internacional de Guanajuato in León. (It's also known as Del Bajío International Airport (BJX). Plan to land during the morning or early afternoon. (We'll be in touch about shuttles!)
the stay
SMA is filled with fun boutique hotels and Airbnbs. Stay wherever you'll feel most comfortable, but we recommend lodging close to the city center – it'll be walkable to and from all of our weekend activities.
